Anton Zeilinger is one of this year’s winners of the Nobel Prize in Physics! The 77-year-old quantum physicist from Austria will receive this prestigious prize, worth around 920,000 euros, for his experiments and findings on entangled photons. One of the first benefactors of local politics was Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen, for whom Zeilinger is a “pioneer and researcher, as he is written in a book”. Van der Bellen was followed by further congratulations from politics and science.
