Ethnic group conflict – 11-year-old boy is part of a ruthless gang of thugs

Date:

Offending another ethnic group – that can end painfully. Two young Syrians in Linz who had a fight with Chechens had to find out. Seven plotted revenge, including an 11-year-old.

The 14- and 15-year-old boys had insulted Chechens “in general”. But they didn’t accept that and enlisted a friend from North Macedonia to help. First, a 13-year-old Russian and a 12-year-old Austrian, both from Linz, beat the 14-year-old Syrian in the Salzburger Strasse underpass in Linz. He fled in the bus towards Simonystraße, but was followed by the attackers.

Another 14-year-old came to the bus stop, pushed the Syrian to the ground and held a knife to his neck to calm him down. When witnesses arrived, the attackers fled. But that wasn’t enough.

The 14-year-old victim and his 15-year-old compatriot, who had joined them, took the tram to the Rädlerweg stop, where they were again guarded by two 13-year-olds from Linz and the 14-year-old victim was again taken by them attacked and subjected to numerous blows and kicks and was injured. Again they stopped when witnesses came.

friend “worried”
Two days later, the 14-year-old met four Chechens aged eleven, 13 and 14 at the Landwiedstrasse bus stop, and they threatened him until he called his 15-year-old friend to come over. He really came and was surrounded by the attackers and hit several times.

Agents of the JUKOB group (youth liaison officers) of the police command of the city of Linz were able to track down the seven suspects. They are also partially self-explanatory.
