The argument between an 85-year-old and a 33-year-old woman got completely out of hand on Friday afternoon in Vienna-Leopoldstadt – apple of disagreement: a parking space. Words must be quickly followed by deeds – the pensioner suddenly took out a dagger and threatened the woman.
Around 2.15 pm the argument between the two on Engerthstrasse ignited, and a little later the 85-year-old pulled out the dagger with a blade length of over 25 centimeters. A witness saw the scene and alerted police.
Officers detained the suspect for the time being. During the interrogation, the man did not confess. A temporary gun ban was issued on him and a report was made while he was still at large.
