A 15-year-old girl was hit by a car while riding her moped in Aller Heiligen (Upper Austria) on Saturday night. However, the motorist did not take care of the injured person and continued his journey without moving.
It is still unclear whether the unknown traffic hooligan was drunk, distracted or simply driving too fast. The girl from Tragwein rode a moped from Aller Heiligen towards Kriechbaum around 8:10 p.m. Suddenly a car drove up to the 15-year-old and hit her.
Injured people were left there
The young woman from Mühlviertel fell and was injured. However, the unknown driver of the car did not stop to care for the youngster and initiate the rescue chain. Instead, the driver apparently drove away at unabated speed towards All Saints.
Looking for witnesses
The injured person was taken to hospital by the Red Cross. The getaway vehicle is said to be a dark, large car. The St. Georgen an der Gusen police station requests information on the telephone number: 059 133/43 27.
