Leon (seven years old, name changed by the editors) was actually looking forward to school – but since the beginning of October, just a month after school started, everything has changed. During math class at a Mühlviertler primary school, the person sitting next to him cut off his upper lip with scissors – deliberately, as the victim’s mother says. “My son was held by his feet and hands, after which the six-year-old attacked him with the scissors.” According to her son, there was no teacher in the classroom at the time.
