The Salzkammergut? “It’s the landscape I grew up in. This is where I come from and this is where I belong. You can’t explain it, it’s a very concrete feeling. Everyone knows this: you can’t deny your roots. Even if you occasionally go out to conquer the world,” says Klaus Maria Brandauer, one of Austria’s greatest actors.
