Dispute in court – scandal surrounding Paulus Manker: deportation threatened!

The wealth of scandals and small scandals that cult director Paulus Manker has done in Semmering alone would be enough for a play – and yet everything still revolves around “Alma” & Co. On September 30 of the previous year, the last performance took place under the direction of Manker at the Südbahnhotel in Semmering, Lower Austria. The final act was appropriately accompanied by the performance of “The Last Days of Mankind”.

According to the contract, the artist should have left the hotel no later than 45 days later. But it hasn’t moved to this day, and the equipment for the plays still blocks the site’s grounds. For this reason, Südbahnhotel Kultur GmbH has also filed a corresponding eviction procedure with the commercial court. “Unfortunately, Mr. Manker has not yet cleared his props, contrary to the contract and illegally, and is occupying the Südbahnhotel without any legal basis,” owner Christian Zeller publicly explained. Manker hit back at the media and confirmed the “occupation”.

Court under pressure: first steps are planned
For the courts, the artist, whose performances have long been legendary, is difficult to grasp. There is currently no trace of the approximately one million euros that Manker earned last year – and in which he should have invested Südbahnhotel Kultur GmbH.

Manker is already legally obliged to fulfill the contract. However, the court-appointed account to which Manker should have transferred the ticket proceeds is still empty. Even fines imposed were not paid.

The dispute over the occupation will not be officially settled until March, but judicial insiders have already confirmed to the “Krone” that they no longer want to look at Manker. Forced deportation seems within reach. According to the first information, it concerns weeks – or just days!
