“Kron”:Mr. Mikuz, you represent victims of stalking who turn to the Tyrol Violence Protection Center. How widespread is this crime in our society?
Michael Mikuz: In addition to physical harm and dangerous threats, stalking is one of the top crimes when it comes to domestic violence. I alone represent about twenty victims every year. If they report to a violence protection center – such as those found throughout Austria – they will organize free legal support if necessary.
