On Tuesday, a traffic accident involving a bus, a fire truck and a car occurred in Vienna-Favoriten, injuring four people.
On Tuesday at 11 a.m., a traffic accident took place on Raxstrasse involving a Vienna Fire Department vehicle, a bus and a car.
According to current investigation, the driver of the fire truck may have turned right onto Raxstrasse from Laxenburger Strasse during an emergency mission. A collision occurred with a traffic sign, after which the truck collided with a car driving on Raxstrasse and then crashed into a stationary bus.
Four injured and traffic jam
The accident injured two firefighters, the driver of the car and a passenger in the bus. Vienna’s professional rescue service provided emergency medical care to the injured and took them to surrounding hospitals.
There were traffic closures and significant traffic delays during the crash investigation.
