At least eleven people were killed and dozens of others were injured in an accident involving a school bus in Indonesia. As a police spokesman said Sunday, nine of the fatalities were students who had just graduated from high school.
The accident took place on Saturday evening (local time) on the largest Indonesian island of Java. According to police, the bus was on its way from the city of Depok to the mountain town of Lembang, popular with tourists.
Driver lost control of the vehicle
According to the information, the bus driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle, overturned to the left and collided with a car and three motorcycles. In addition to the nine students, a teacher and a motorcyclist involved in the accident were also killed.
