In Schärding (Upper Austria) two young people from Bavaria fled a traffic check on Saturday night. The car ended up in a meadow.
According to the police, the two 16-year-olds did not have a driver’s license. Because of a traffic check, they ran towards the German border, but the police were already waiting for them in Neuhaus am Inn. The car, which belongs to the father of one of the boys, suffered damage worth 15,000 euros.
A 16-year-old also had an accident in the Mühlviertel in the early hours of Saturday morning. As reported, the car left the road and overturned. The teenager, who was traveling with an 18-year-old friend, also does not have a driver’s license. The two occupants were unharmed and the car has only scrap value.
