In Buenos Aires, Argentine police have seized an extensive arsenal of Nazi weapons and Hitler memorabilia. The owner was arrested. The authorities announced this on Friday (local time).
During a search of the man’s home, the police seized more than sixty firearms. These included 43 rifles with Nazi eagle insignia, 15 pistols, five bayonets and a machine gun, the Argentine Federal Police reported.
The historic Nazi weapons were decorated with symbols of the Third Reich. Nazi flags, military uniforms, helmets and busts of Hitler were also seized by authorities.
Employees of the Holocaust Museum in Buenos Aires supported the police in the action to enforce the national anti-discrimination law, the police report said.
