The photos leaked to the “Krone” clearly show the terrible suffering that the animals confiscated in Hungary must have endured. Not everyone was lucky enough to be saved. The researchers also found dogs and horses that had suffered a cruel death from starvation.
Hungarian animal rights activists say they have discovered another site of serious animal abuse in the Hungarian municipality of Köszegpaty, near the border. Richard Kapin, head of the Hungarian foundation ‘Everything for the Animals’, reported this on Monday. Numerous carcasses of small dogs were discovered at the “Hell Farm” and 46 other dogs were rescued.
According to the arrest warrant, the operator of the farm is Brigitta M. The woman is also said to have run two ‘propagation stations’ in the Hungarian towns of Csapod and Csönge, near the border.

Here too, the animals were kept in an “indescribable hell”. Animal rights activists and employees of the responsible authorities recently discovered and reported this during raids on the two farms.
Based in Hungary
The woman from Graz left Austria years ago after numerous cases of animal cruelty were filed against her, Hungarian television channel TV2 reported. The station also showed photos of the woman in a hospital.
These arose after the woman was brought before the authorities – she then claimed to have ingested rat poison. He was then taken to a Hungarian hospital. The suspect is said to have fled from there.
Have you fled to Styria?
Animal rights activist Kapin suspects that the woman is hiding in the Graz area. Due to her escape, an international arrest warrant was issued for her. Hungarian, Austrian, Belgian and Slovenian animal rights activists would also take part in the search, TV2 said. According to Kapin, the public’s willingness to help is great, not least when it comes to caring for the rescued animals.
“We are also in contact with local animal rights activists. The situation calms down only slowly. Animal corner ‘Krone’ has provided support, but it is not yet clear what is needed. We are dealing with an animal tragedy of unfathomable proportions. Brigitta M. is responsible for the cruel deaths of countless animals. She must be held accountable for this,” said Tierecke boss Maggie Entenfellner.
