Only on Thursday did the fire brigade have to go out for the last time because several fire extinguishers were emptied in a parking garage in Jenbach. On Sunday, the police again reported such an act of vandalism. Several cars were damaged and the damage is expected to be extensive.
The previously unknown perpetrators fired several fire extinguishers in the ÖBB parking garage around 3 p.m. on Sunday, causing some parked vehicles to fog up. According to police, the property damage caused by the vandals cannot be quantified at this time, but is likely to be significant.
The police are investigating
It is not the first time that such an incident has occurred in Jenbach. On Thursday, unknown persons damaged several vehicles parked in the parking garage in the same way. Passers-by mistook the mist from the powder fire extinguisher for smoke and the fire brigade was therefore called.
Thursday’s incident was the first to occur during the day; similar property damage had previously occurred several times during the night. The police investigation is ongoing.
