Faced with this new industrial accident, the UGT union met for next Wednesday, 6th of July, a concentration of rejection in Bilbao, at the gates of the headquarters in Bilbao. In addition, it will call on labor authorities to “be more vigilant in the prevention of occupational risks”.
With today’s accident they are already there 41 workers died in occupational accidents so far this year in Euskal Herria. For this reason, those responsible for UGT have demanded that the inspectorate and Osalan clarify the causes of the accident and vigorously clear responsibilities, “as accidents in many cases result from uncertainty.”
