After a test of grain products, Global 2000 raises alarm: in bread, pasta, flower, etc., the environmental activists found a questionable chemical that comes from cooling and weed destruction, which is supposed to jeopardize the reproduction of humans.
It is therefore the Substance Trifluoracet (TFA), also known as chemicals. In 2021, the manufacturer of pesticides Bayer informed the EU about the fact that TFA in animal experiments caused serious malformations in fetuses, and the classification of substance requests “Presumably reproductively OXIC in humans,” said environmental chemist Helmut Burtscher damage.
Substance in the area extremely resistant
The fabric is extremely resistant to the environment and is collected in the water. Global 2000 had already demonstrated in the cable and mineral water in 2024, as well as in rivers and the groundwater and then also in wine.
TFA in all tested grain products
Now 48 grain products, including bread, breakfast flakes, cookies, pasta, flower and whole grains, were analyzed by spelled, wheat, rye, rice and corn. Half of them were organic products, the others were grown conventionally. They were all examined on TFA in the laboratory and you found what they were looking for.
In rehearsals, an average of 119 millionth grams per kilogram, said Burtscher damage. Just like wine, this is more than a hundred times as much as in surface, ground and tap water, and 400 more than in rainwater. The large quantities of TFA in the grain plants can therefore not only come out of the water and also indicate an already widespread contamination of the agricultural floors, ”says the expert.
Bio products less stressed
Conventional products were stressed three times higher than organic products. Burtscher -damage is likely that organic products are probably responsible for the large mobility of the TFA molecule due to wind and water.
Harmful to health or acceptable?
Whether the quantities of TFA in the grain products can be classified as “harmful to health” depends on whose guidelines are used. According to the older directive of the European Food Safety Authority, the All -Clear can be given. According to the recent directive, for example from the Waloon part of Belgium, the acceptable daily dose for eating grain products for adults would be exceeded four times, for small children about four times, said Burtscher damage.
In comparison with a similar investigation from 2016, the TFA tax has tripled. According to Global 2000, there is “urgent need for action” and an appeal to the government to ban such substances.
