In November 2024, the guesthouse fell victim to the flames. Now the Zirngast family in Schlading ventures into a new start. “Hygge on Gut Styrian” is the concept that runs through the entire house.
It was only seven months since the worst nightmares of each hotel operator came out: a fire broke out in the roof structure of the recently renovated hotel Zirngast in Schlading, 85 firefighters spent hours. What was not the victim of the flames was destroyed by the water masses.
And yet Andrea and Marcel Zirngast have never thought of giving up. Even today the hotelier still says: “We look positively in the future.” This attitude has paid off: last Friday they proudly opened their inn in New Splendor.
With the concept “Hygge on Gut Styrian” you have renovated the building and revised the map. “We want to transport the Danish attitude towards socializing and safety,” explains Zirngel. To eat there is “down -To -eanerth tavern kitchen with a fresh turn”. Among other things, a “smorrebrod” with saibling is served.
The campsite, which belongs to the hotel Zirngast, started again at the end of May. Guests currently bathe in the Enns, but also hard -boiled camps can also be made here in the winter.
The hotel itself will open again at the end of November. “We even built a floor on it,” explains Zirngast. There will be 43 rooms in the future. “It’s not all in the past, but the direction is good.”
