Montero commits to publish more than 34,000 places from the regular offer before the end of the year with the aim of speeding up processes that last forever
The government on Tuesday approved the largest public labor supply in history: nearly 45,000 places. In concrete terms, the Council of Ministers gave the green light for 44,788 places, of which 34,151 correspond to the normal offer (22,009 newcomers and 12,142 internal promotion), 12.2% more than in 2021 and 10,636 for the offer to stabilize temporary workers.
But given that one of the biggest complaints from the unions is that the calling processes take forever and even years to materialize, the Executive has also promised that all calls for the regular offer, which consists of 34,151 seats, will be published before the year ends. .
The Minister of Finance and Public Function, María Jesús Montero, pointed out that this record public employment offer is almost double the places offered by the government of Mariano Rajoy in 2017, explaining that this is “the will of the executive reflects, so that government departments have the necessary material resources and, above all, qualified and committed personnel.
In addition, the Council of Ministers finally approved the law that commits to reduce the high temporary nature of public administration to above 33% now (ten points more than the private sector), below 8%.
