The United States captain for the Solheim Cup, Stacy Lewis, This Tuesday he completed his team by naming Lexi Thompson, Jennifer Kupcho and Sarah Schmelzel as your three choices for the competition to be held September 13 to 15 at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville (Virginia, USA).

Thompson may play in his final Solheim Cup as he has said he will retire from full-time competition after the 2024 season.
The United States leads Europe 10-7-1 in Solheim Cup record, a biennial event between teams of 12 players and follows the same format as the men’s Ryder Cup.
Europe has held the trophy since 2019, after a draw last year at Finca Cortesín (Málaga) to retain it. The Solheim Cup is held in consecutive years to fit into an even-year calendar.
