The Argentinian Eduardo “Chacho” Coudet, coach of Celta de Vigo, lamented that his team “escaped” with two points in a game that, in his opinion, they were “too much in control of” as the Spaniard scored on them “with their only two shots except for one from pole in the first half ” .
“The fairest thing would be to keep the three points, but in football there are no merits,” said the sky-blue coach in his address to reporters.
Coudet appeals to “work” as “an error when the ball came out” and a penalty in extra time punished a Celta “a lot” who “need time” to develop their idea.
“We have to work, we lost a game that we had on the right track. In the first half we weren’t able to dominate the game off the ball, but they didn’t get us anything except a shot on the post. Then we got 2-0, we had it under control and in the end we missed two points that hurt us”, he said.
