Someone must have drunk a drink too thirsty: A German driver lost control of his car in Wörgl (Kufstein district) on Saturday night, went off the road and fell over an embankment before the car came to a stop through a tree.
The serious accident happened at around 3:45 am: The 67-year-old German was driving his car on Wildschönauerstraße when he suddenly came out over the edge of the road.
The BMW then rumbled about ten meters over the dike and finally collided with a tree.
With rescue to the hospital
The driver sustained injuries. After first aid at the scene of the accident, he was transported by ambulance to the Kreisziekenhuis Kufstein. According to the police, an alcohol test showed more than 1.5 promille. German is displayed.
