Serious traffic accident on Saturday evening in the Vienna district of Ottakring: the driver of a car lost control of the wheel and collided head-on with a tree. All four occupants suffered serious injuries.
The serious accident happened around 1:15 a.m. in Lobmeyrgasse near the congress park. According to the police, the 20-year-old driver may have lost control of the wheel on a wet road surface. The car hit a tree.
The 20-year-old – he had not been drinking – and his three passengers were seriously injured in the accident. After first aid by emergency services from the Viennese professional rescue service, the four victims were taken to hospital.
The fire service has taken over the salvage of the badly damaged car.
