Former British Conservative MP Imran Khan has been sentenced to prison for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old. When the verdict was handed down Monday, he is said to have shown no remorse.
Tory politician Khan is said to have sexually touched a 15-year-old boy at a party in 2008. Previously, he may have forced him to drink alcohol. He was then expelled from his party and gave up his seat in the House of Commons.
The 48-year-old, who represented the Wakefield constituency, has already appealed the conviction. When the verdict was announced Monday at Southwark Crown Court in London, Khan showed no remorse, according to the judge responsible. So far, he has admitted no guilt.
Khan is not the only Tory politician currently under investigation. Another Conservative MP also allegedly raped someone.
