During window installation work on Tuesday morning in Kirchbach-Zerlach (Southeast Styria district), a 43-year-old Bosnian fell four meters into the depths and was seriously injured.
Around 10 a.m., the Bosnian, who lives in Graz, was doing various window installation work (sealing) at a construction site. He was sitting in the basket of a hinged telescopic platform at a height of four meters. This probably caused him to climb onto the iron struts of the basket. Due to the frozen poles he lost his balance, slipped and fell into the depths. Colleagues immediately provided first aid and called the emergency services.
After initial treatment, the 43-year-old was taken to hospital in Feldbach with serious injuries.
